Toxic relationships are often a ticking time bomb– and in one Texas man’s case, his girlfriend gave him a heck of a wake-up call after she crashed his brand-new car because of a mere text message. The whole thing was even caught on camera, and viewers grew increasingly concerned at the woman’s remorseless behavior.
The dash video was caught and uploaded by Eric to his TikTok account, Slightly Toxic Co. Eric, presumably from Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas, was driving his newly purchased car while his girlfriend, Lisa, used his phone. Apparently, Lisa was also texting someone else on Eric’s phone (pretending that she was him), perhaps as a way to “test” the man’s loyalty. Eric, however, managed to inform the person Lisa was texting by sending a message through his Apple Watch that it’s Lisa texting, and not him.
This action, however, caused Lisa to lash out, where she started grabbing Eric’s Apple Watch and then the wheel of the car, causing the vehicle to crash. Thankfully, the crash wasn’t too severe, and both of them appear physically safe. The same couldn’t be said for Eric’s new car, however.
What made the incident even worse is how Lisa lacks remorse and accountability, refusing to apologize for the damage she caused (which also could’ve easily killed or injured both of them), even saying something ridiculous afterward:
‘I don’t know what you want from me,” says Lisa after causing a car crash
For some reason, a fart sound could also be heard after the crash, presumably either Lisa’s or Eric’s though it’s not clear if this fart is real or related to the crash. In another video which captured Lisa’s abusive episodes, another fart sound could also be heard, leading many to believe that Eric oddly edited the fart sounds in before uploading the videos.
They Broke Up, Thankfully
It appears Eric has woken up and broken up with Lisa before the video was uploaded, though it’s not clear whether his ex-girlfriend faced charges for wrecking his car. Eric explained his side on his Slightly Toxic Co. TikTok channel, where he detailed just how abusive Lisa was to him, even cheating on him multiple times.
Eric sadly cheated as well, just to get back at Lisa, something he regrets since he admits he should’ve just left her. If he did, Eric would’ve still had his rare luxury car unscathed. Eric’s TikTok account, for the record, seems new, and the channel might now be dedicated to stories about his toxic relationships, so there could be more angles to the Texas car crash.
People who have just witnessed one of the most destructive toxic relationships ever have plenty to say about the couple after witnessing their literal car crash of a relationship.

“Both of em are in the wrong. One for looking at his phone while driving & the other for interfering with the driver over a text. Both could’ve caused a serious accident,” argues 710
