A Texas woman had to endure an entitled Karen’s rant on an American Airlines flight. The woman posted a video on her TikTok channel, exposing her insufferable behavior. The lady proceeds to harass a poor flight attendant, accusing her of not doing her job properly and making everyone aboard miserable.
The Karen clearly wants to argue as the video begins with her saying things such as “no, it wasn’t” and “neither is his.” This refers to her claim that other passengers don’t have their seats upright. The Texas woman records a flight attendant attempting to calm her down while a second attendant assists. The woman rambles, “I mean there’s rules, and there’s not rules.” The woman continues, “If they don’t have to follow the rules, then I’m not going to follow the rules.”
The flight attendant assures her that “their seat is up,” but the statement isn’t believed. The woman says, “No, it’s not! Look!” She continues, “It is not in line with the other seat.” She then films the second attendant adjusting the seat. He tells the woman, “There it is.” This is not good enough for this lady, who repeats “there are rules” and argues that the seat is fixed. She even accuses the attendants of not following the rules. The attendant insists, “They’re following the rules.” This isn’t a good enough answer, as she responds, “They were not!”
Karen Removed From Texas Woman’s Flight
The situation escalates as the attendant repeats that the other passengers are following the rules. The entitled woman talks back, “No, they weren’t. I’m sorry, ma’am, they were not.” She continues, “They didn’t want to.” Growing frustrated, the attendant asks, “Are we going to have a good flight or are we not?” She says, “I’m just saying, you overlooked everything.” During the exchange, the second attendant leaves. The remaining attendant assures the woman she has “been doing this for a long time.” This receives the comeback, “Apparently too long, because you just overlooked things.” She then argues, “His seat is still not up.” The situation concludes with the woman removed from her seat. The Texas woman captions the video, “finally.”
Many sympathize with the video creator and call out the woman’s entitled behavior, “Even if the flight attendant is wrong…she’s right.” Another says, “Girl, it ain’t that deep. We tryna get to our destination.” A second comment reads, “Imagine throwing a fit about having to put your seat in the upright position.” One comment calls the Karen out, “dealing with toddler adults.” Another agrees, “I’d be mortified if anyone had to speak to me like a toddler at my big age.” One comment points out, “people really aren’t afraid of the no-fly list like they used to be.”
