A Georgia woman left netizens in stitches after she posted a video on TikTok showing the very unconventional method she used to discipline her nephew. The school had reportedly called her, instead of the boy’s mom, about his disrespectful behavior, and she wasted no time in coming to handle it.
What followed made netizens sing her praises and agree that the staff knew exactly which family member to call.
In the TikTok video that has racked up millions of views, the aunt drove to the school after learning from a teacher that her nephew had been disrespectful and disruptive in class. She showed up seemingly cheerful, not giving anything away when the boy came bounding out of class, looking very delighted that she had come to pick him up.
Once they were outside, she casually asked whether he’d had a good day, and the unsuspecting boy happily said that he had. His aunt knew otherwise.
She revealed to the boy that she had already heard about what happened at school and informed him that his afternoon was about to turn into a boot camp he would never forget.
Auntie Had a Full Workout Planned
The aunt first had her nephew perform a wall sit while holding a large textbook in front of him. As he struggled to maintain the position, she had him repeat that he would not be disrespectful toward his teacher.
The boy was also put through pushups, planks, bear crawls, running, squats and several other exercises. His aunt followed along, giving him instructions and occasionally doing the exercises beside him.
The boy was in tears as he worked his way through the exercises. While his aunt had voluntarily opted to join him for the workout, he most certainly had not.
Meanwhile, the aunt did not relent one bit throughout the video or stop to comfort the little man. Instead, she continued to remind him why he was out there in the first place and remained in full drill sergeant mode till they finished.
Netizens React to the Georgia Boy’s Punishment
The video has received more than a million likes on TikTok. In the comments, most people were supportive of the aunt’s approach to disciplining the child.
“This is why they say it takes a village!!! This is teaching this young man that his actions had consequences,” one person commented. Another agreed, writing, “He’s going to appreciate this later on in life … I love to see this.” A third joked, “That boy gone be traumatized everytime he hear the word disrespect.” Someone else added, “He gone be so sore tomorrow he won’t have the strength to be disrespectful.”
Some were amused by the whole scenario, especially by how excited the boy had been to see his aunt before discovering exactly why she had shown up.

The aunt said she had been in the middle of her workout when she heard about her nephew’s behavior at school.
Her TikTok account also shows that she regularly posts workout-focused content, which would explain why she looked like she was essentially in her natural habitat, while her nephew appeared to be fighting for his life, probably wishing his mom had come instead.
