A chaotic scene at a Chicago gas station is recirculating online and going viral: after a verbal fight with her boyfriend, a woman rammed her SUV into one car, then crashed into another on the street, overturning onto its roof.
The Chicago woman, Kendra Nance, 31, was charged after a quarrel with her boyfriend led to a crash in Forest Park. Video shows Nance nearly hitting several people before the incident at a Thornton’s gas station on Harlem Avenue, police said.

Video shows her then racing onto Harlem Avenue in the Ford Explorer, crashing into a sedan, and flipping the SUV. Both Nance and her boyfriend were arrested nearby and treated at Loyola University Medical Center.
The opening of the clip sees a woman with turquoise braids angrily yelling at Nance in a blue SUV, which is stopped at a Chicago gas station. It’s difficult to make out what she’s repeatedly shouting, but it sounds like, “On my back he hit it. On my back he hit it. Hit it!” While the woman keeps yelling, Nance reverses slightly, and it looks like another man is attempting to get into the passenger side of her vehicle. This is apparently her boyfriend, who is the one she’s been reportedly arguing with.
Suddenly, however, Nance puts her foot down and accelerates quickly, dragging the man along the ground for a few moments, as he hangs onto the passenger door handle. Nance speeds off, and her boyfriend who attempted to enter her vehicle walks away. However, the chaos doesn’t end there, as the reckless driver proceeds to drive into the street, colliding with another vehicle, which sends her SUV toppling onto its roof. You can hear a shocked onlooker yell things like, “Damn!” and “She flipped the whole truck.”
The woman who was arguing with the driver at the beginning of the video can also be heard exclaiming, “You dumb [expletive] [expletive]!” Moments later, Nance climbs out of her overturned vehicle and approaches the person filming, repeatedly laughing in a mocking tone. One bystander can be heard calling the driver “racist“, though this claim is unverified in the footage.
Reactions to the chaotic clip have poured in quickly, with viewers rushing to share their thoughts in the comments. One Redditor wrote, “Damn how did she just jump out that wrecked car and talking [expletive]? What is going on here?” while another chimed in with, “That guy was a GTA IV ragdoll“. A third expressed, “Well this is definitely the craziest [expletive] I’ve seen this week…so far“.
According to CBS News, Nance was charged with felony criminal damage, two counts of aggravated assault, reckless driving, reckless conduct, leaving the scene, and driving without a valid license. Although the incident happened in 2023, it’s resurfacing online likely due to its shocking nature.
