- Drop Kick: A drop kick move that’s low in damage but high in force
- War Cry: A yell that boosts Toughness for you and your squad. It causes nearby zombies to become Weakened
- Overhead Smash: Push the Curveball button while in Fury mode to smash the ground and inflict high damage
Survivor Skills
These Skill Cards work well in improving Carla as a Slayer and ensuring she survives any Dead Island 2 challenge:
- The Limb Reaper: Restore lost health while maiming zombies
- Rallying Cry: Your War Cry restores lost health and eliminate any harmful status effects on you and your squad
- Ravenous: Zombie kills will restore Fury while in Fury mode
- Warhead: A successful Drop Kick causes an explosion that will drain the stability of nearby zombies

Slayer Skills
This build is all about Carla’s Fury, freeing her to fully unleash on zombies:
- Janus Rage: Get a moderate Toughness boost when Fury is full. If Fury is not full, receive a minor damage boost.
- Juggernaut: Overhead Smash will build Fury, hit with greater Force, and cause more damage
- Pyro: Melee attacks and Overhead Smash will ignite zombies while in Fury mode but will also drain extra Fury
- Volatile: While in Fury mode, melee attacks make targets explode but will drain extra Fury
Numen Skills
Lastly, we’ll dissect the two Numen Skill Cards that will benefit Carla the most in Dead Island 2. In particular, the first Skill Card can slightly make up for her low Critical Damage stat:
- Glass Cannon: Toughness goes down, but critical hits do more damage. Damage increases further if you’re in a critical health state.
- Seismic Stomp: A successful Skull Stomp will cause an explosion. It also drains stability and causes Bleed on nearby zombies.
