Bossa Studios, developers of I Am Bread and Surgeon Simulator, announced their next game called The Bradwell Conspiracy, coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Apple Arcade later this Fall. You can check out the teaser trailer below:
The Bradwell Conspiracy is a first-person narrative title where you play as an unnamed museum visitor waking up after an explosion at the Bradwell Museum. To escape, you must work with a Bradwell employee trapped elsewhere in the crumbling building. You message each other using photographs and a pair of AR Smart Glasses. The narrative game is filled with 3D-printing based puzzles, interactive environments, and a complex mystery to uncover. The Bradwell Conspiracy promises a “truly immersive gameplay experience.”
Bossa Studios is filled with veteran talents that have worked on AAA titles in the past. The studio has released several titles in the past but is most known for I Am Bread and Surgeon Simulator. In I Am Bread, you play as a piece of bread with the goal of turning into a piece of toast. You must avoid hazards, such as water or the floor, to be the best piece of toast you can be. Surgeon Simulator has you performing surgical procedures, though the environment isn’t always ideal. Both titles are more known for comedic physics-based gameplay than a serious story, so The Bradwell Conspiracy looks to be a slight departure for the studio.
The Bradwell Conspiracy coming to Apple Arcade is interesting considering full details of the service haven’t been announced. Apple Arcade is Apple’s upcoming subscription-based games service. Subscribers will pay a monthly fee and gain access to a library of titles, similar to Xbox Game Pass. The service is rumored to be priced at $4.99 a month.
