A new update, numbered 1.016, has arrived for The Callisto Protocol, and here are the bug fixes and changes that arrived. We remember that The Callisto Protocol was made a terrible launch. It’s sad to see AAA games launching with poor optimization and noticeable bugs, but the developers worked hard to fix all those problems. Considering how bad its day one version was, the game is on a different level now. Today’s patch is also helping to improve the game’s stability, bringing a more stable experience. Here are the patch notes for The Callisto Protocol update 1.016.
The Callisto Protocol Update 1.016 Patch Notes
Dismemberment Mode
- Take your enemies apart limb by limb and experience the thrill of instantly dismembering your foes.
- Players cannot earn campaign achievements or trophies while playing Dismemberment Mode.
Global
- Added functionality allowing players to skip cutscenes
As you see, there are only a few changes here. We already didn’t expect that to be a big changer because the developers are focusing on fixing even the small problems nowadays. In case you’ve missed it, here are the patch notes from the previous update:
- Death is only the beginning of Contagion Mode, The Callisto Protocol’s ultimate survival horror experience. Fight tactically and use your ammunition wisely – Contagion Mode’s difficulty is custom balanced with stronger enemies, limited resources, and no manual saves. Your progress is reset to the beginning of the chapter if you die.
- The Contagion Bundle also includes 14 all-new ways for Jacob to die at the hands of the Biophage, and the Watchtower Skin Collection, a UJC-themed pack of player and weapon skins for all your gear.
- This content requires The Callisto Protocol base game to play.
- Also included with the Season Pass
We should say that the previous one brought more changes. We hope to see more playable content on The Callisto Protocol because the game reached a good level of playability for most players.
