Xbox fans will soon be able to get their hands on a new version of the classic Xbox 360 controller, which will be compatible with the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC platforms. While the design of modern Xbox controllers is based on that of the Xbox 360 era, the new version of the 360 controller called Xenon will provide users with a hit of nostalgia. While controllers have been iterated upon by Microsoft in the last decade and a half, the 360 controller was largely believed to be one of the best controllers ever made, so those that hail from the Xbox Live era are in luck.
The Xenon model, which is being released by Hyperkin, is set to hit the market on June 6th and will retail for $49.99. Pre-orders for the controller will be available on May 5th, giving gamers the opportunity to secure their purchase in advance. The Xenon will offer compatibility with all current-generation Xbox consoles and PCs.

The Classic Xbox 360 Controller Is Coming Back
Hyperkin has previously collaborated with Xbox to release new models of “The Duke,” which was the original Xbox controller, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the gaming brand. The fact that this collaboration has now extended to the Xbox 360 controller is exciting news for those who have fond memories of the controller.
While it remains to be seen whether or not Hyperkin and Xbox will continue to work together in this capacity in the future, it is certainly encouraging to see popular controllers like the Xbox 360 having a second life so many years later. Overall, the upcoming release of the Xenon controller will give gamers the opportunity to relive classic gaming moments with a touch of modern convenience. This will be perfect for anyone who likes the new controllers but would rather use the 360 controller.
