The Conjuring was one of the best horror films released in 2013, that spurred on a disappointing spin-off (which seems set on becoming a series) in the way of Annabelle. After three years, director James Wan has returned to horror, offering up a proper sequel to The Conjuring.
We have finally received a teaser trailer for The Conjuring 2, and it once more has us following Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.) Much like the first film, we will be following the story of a case file that the real-life Warrens documented. Dubbed The Enfield Poltergeist, The Conjuring 2 is set in north London during the late 1970s. The question, however, is how much of the real life encounter (if you believe it that is) will make it into Wan’s film adaptation. Some believe the girls were simply playing a prank, but the two girls who were haunted truly believe they were visited by a spirit. I doubt the film will try to provide a definitive answer to the real life event, and instead go for the simple evil ghost routine. Can’t blame him for that, as the trailer does look great!

What do you think of the new trailer? Any other ghost cases you think would make good stories? Do you think the girls faked it or were truly haunted? Sound off below!
