The Division 2 new DLC will take the battle back to the snowy New York once again, four years after the original game.

Reforming all the problems and issues of the original game, The Division 2 claimed to be a worthy and wise sequel to the first game by most of the reviewers. However, according to Ubisoft’s financial stats, it couldn’t meet the sales expectations, which put the game in an unfortunate position to the point that recently, some retailers were selling the game for only $3 almost a year after its launch. Obviously, Ubisoft and the studio behind The Division 2 need much bigger and more exciting content to inject new players to the game, and it seems the plan is to take the war back to New York again with the Year 2 DLC Warlords of New York.

Featuring a new open-world map set in New York, the story of the new DLC begins when several former Division agents turn rogue and take control of the city, which makes you and your companions go out of Washington D.C. for a special mission. Along with the new map, Warlords of New York will be bringing a revamped progression system with a level cap of 40. The endgame will be reworked and extended with some new specializations.

If you purchase Year 2 Pass until April 3rd, you’ll be rewarded with Tactical Response Pack, which includes a level 40 shotgun and a New York City Police outfit. Warlords of New York will go live on March 3rd across all the platforms, and the full reveal along with official trailer is expected to arrive via Ubisoft’s Twitch live-stream, which is going to start today at 2 PM EST/11 AM PT/8 PM CEST.

It’s worth noting that Ubisoft would likely announce The Division 2 Ultimate Edition which will be including the base game, Warlords of New York DLC, a level boost of 30 to jump into the DLC right after its launch, and some other items such as endgame specializations, outfits, and more.
