Things have not been looking great for the Chrysos Heirs, and it seems that everything will have to get worse before it gets slightly better. Today, HoYoverse hosted the Special Program for Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3. In it, we got a glimpse at two new playable characters, a lot of events, but most importantly, the next part of the Amphoreus saga. By the looks of it, the Flame-Chase Journey is reaching its climax, and all Trailblazers will want to prepare to get on this upcoming wild ride.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3 Lands on May 21
If you missed the Special Program, we’ve attached the trailer for Version 3.3 above, which shows some of the things coming to Honkai: Star Rail. Regarding the story, it seems we’re reaching a pivotal point in Amphoreus. The Flame Reaver appears to be back and ready to stir up trouble for the Chrysos Heirs. Things seem to be so bad that Dan Hang will bring its Imbibitor Lunae form, but that’s only what we caught from the trailer. We’ll have to wait for the update to land to see what’s in store for the Amphoreus cast. Speaking of which, two new characters are joining the playable roster.
Hyacine and Cipher Join the Fray

For the first phase, we’ll have Hyacine, a Wind character following the Path of Abundance. She’s capable of healing all teammates through Little Ica while also increasing everyone’s HP through her ultimate. Also, The Herta will join Hyacine during the first half. So, if you didn’t pull for this genius, you might want to do so this time.
The second phase will feature Cipher, a Quantum character following the Path of Nihility. She focuses on targeting the enemy with the highest HP while also performing follow-up attacks during the fight. Aglaea will also join Cipher during the second half. As you may know, Aglaea was the first 5-star Remembrance character, and one that’s still performing exceptionally well in all types of content.
On top of that, we’ll also have many events coming to Version 3.3. There’s a racing-focused one, and The Legend of the Galactic Baseballer is back with an improved iteration. Overall, Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3 will be brimming with content, so you’d better catch up with the story because things will only get more chaotic moving forward.
