Joel Encounters An Unusual Ellie Bug In The Last of Us
The Last of Us is a popular action-adventure video developed by Naughty Dog that follows the story of Joel and Ellie as they navigate a post-apocalyptic world.
However, a recent bug in the game has caused quite a stir among players, particularly involving a surprising event for Joel.
Despite the game’s success and the hype around its recent TV Series adaption, players have reported encountering various issues in the PC version of The Last of Us Part 1, including crashes, long loading items, and poor performance. The most unexpected moment occurred when Joel was given two kids to care for instead of just the usual one.
First reported by a Redditor named Faith-ToSpeak, sharing an image from earlier hours of the game where players can see two versions of Ellie on the screen along with Joel and Tess. The post was titled “it was supposed to be one child, Marlene.” referring to the bug that showed otherwise.
The comment section under the thread is filled with users making funny remarks about The Last of Us Part 1 glitch. Faith-ToSpeak also confirmed that this glitch made both versions of Ellie follow the player through the mission.
The developers of the game, Naughty Dog, have taken notice of the glitch present in the PC Version and have issued two fixes for the game. It is still unknown how long it will take for the studio to fix major issues faced by the game users and recover its ratings on Steam.
