While the release window is about all we know ofĀ The Mandalorian’sĀ second season, Favreau might have given a small hint in his tweet. Along with the release date, he posted a photo of a green-skinned pig man known as Gamorreans. Fans ofĀ Star WarsĀ might recognize these creatures fromĀ Return of the Jedi,Ā where they guarded Jabba the Hutt’s palace. So, maybe a familiar face will make an appearance?
Excitingly enough, Jon Favreau also plans to direct an episode of the upcoming season. Carl Weathers, who plays Greef Karga in The Mandalorian, also intends to join Bryce Dallas Howard as one of the show’s guests directors.
Luckily,Ā Star WarsĀ fans have some exciting things on the horizon to keep them busy until next fall. Obviously,Ā Rise of the SkywalkerĀ is in theaters now, andĀ Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order is available on PlayStation 4,
