From “ER” to “The Good Wife” Julianna Margulies Has Made Her Characters Compelling
Julianna Margulies earned 10 Emmy Award nominations. The nominations include her Alicia Florrick role in The Good Wife and as Carole Hathaway in ER. The Good Wife showed that Margulies could carry a show well. Alicia Florrick was not only a dedicated mother to her children but a talented lawyer. Her role as Laura Peterson stole the spotlight from Aniston and Witherspoon. Peterson is a successful journalist whose career recovered from being outed as a lesbian years before. Laura Peterson is headstrong and a no-frills character that should further add to the Apple TV+ drama series. Thankfully Julianna Margulies will return to further Peterson’s storyline for Season 3 of The Morning Show. Of course, the main storyline is the career and professional relationship between Bradley, Alex, and Cory Ellison (Billy Crudup). Margulies is a much-appreciated addition to the cast.
There is no release date for Season 3 of the Apple TV+ drama series.
