The summer festivities are over, and it is time for our Proxies to work alongside one of the elite factions in the game. The Obol Squad is joining the fight, and it is bringing two new playable Agents once Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.2 arrives. Furthermore, the main story will continue as the Proxies and their allies give chase to the elusive Exaltists. And as usual, there are plenty of events coming, so players can save up some currency and pull for any of these two new characters or the two reruns.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.2 Arrives on September 4
In case you missed the Special Program for Version 2.2 of Zenless Zone Zero, we’ve attached the trailer above. In this version, you can expect a direct continuation of the main story, but now, The Obol Squad will take the spotlight as they join other allies in Waifei Peninsula.
For the first half, we’ll have Seed, an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent who fights alongside Seed Sr., her trustworthy mecha. Accompanying Seed for the first phase, we have Trigger getting her first rerun, which is fitting due to this Agent being one of the best Stunners in the game. If you’re looking for a new Electric team or want to get New Eridu’s deadliest shooter, now’s your time to pull for her alongside this new Obol Squad member.
During the second half, Orphie & Magus will make an appearance. Obol Quad’s captain is an S-Rank Fire Attack Agent who excels at buffing allies through the Zeroed state, which also makes your team’s Aftershock ignore enemies’ defenses. Evelyn is also joining Orphie & Magus during the second half, and is another excellent Fire agent you should consider adding to your roster.
Rhythm Challenges, A Free Bangboo, and More Events Coming
On top of the new characters and main story, many events are coming to Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.2. All Proxies will get the Giveaway Event, which will reward them with 10 Encrypted Master Tapes just by logging in, as well as “Eh-Nah” In To Your Lap, which brings 10 Boopons. There’s also Band of Brave Bangboo, which will give everyone the A-Rank Excaliboo. And if that wasn’t enough, there are a few more combat-focused time-limited events and a few exploration ones that will have a lot of Polychrome ripe for the picking. So, make sure to log in during this version to reap all the rewards and get all the Agents you want for your roster.
