Today, Supermassive has announced the release date of their newest game, The Quarry. The studio also released a new trailer for the game with the announcement. The trailer will give players an idea of what they need to expect from The Quarry, which will release on June 10th.

In The Quarry, Decide the Fates of Nine People

Players will have the option to take control of nine different characters. The nine teenage camp counselors find themselves being hunted. The hostile threat, unknown even in the trailer, is doing everything in its power to hunt them down. Fans will have to play to learn more about this hostile entity.

Unlike Supermassives other games, The Dark Pictures franchise, the new release will be lengthier like Until Dawn. And, just like Until Dawn, the Quarry will also be going back to the classic teen slasher genre were all familiar with.

A New Spin on a Classic Slasher Genre

Of course, The Quarry will also adopt the innovations from The Dark Pictures franchise. The Quarry will have co-op features, allowing up to eight other players to join in and play together. Players can vote on the decisions that will take place as they play each camp counselor and watch as their choices play out.

Like Supermassive’s other game, the Quarry will also feature considerable name talent in its cast, such as David Arquette, Ariel Winter, Brenda Song, Evan Evagora, Halston Sage, Justice Smith, Miles Robbins. Additional talent includes Siobhan Williams, Skyler Gisondo, Zach Tinker, Ethan Suplee, Grace Zabriskie, Lance Henriksen, Lin Shaye, and Ted Raimi, all confirmed in roles for The Quarry.

Lastly, the Supermassive release The Quarry will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S. For any information about The Quarry, check out the games product page. Additionally, check out their development page for any information about the studio Supermassive.
