21st Century Fox has reported that the show The Simpsons is being renewed for a 31st and 32nd season. This means that total The Simpsons will have made over 700 shows if a two more seasons come out. Over the years Simpsons has become one of Fox’s most profitable show making about $71 million. It’s done this While also became an unofficial mascot a cultural phenomenon and is one of the longest-running on For Fox, for passing there last long running longer than their show Gunsmoke which was about over 400 episodes. The show has weirdly predicted things that have been going on for some time in our current time.
There has been some talk that with the merger of Disney which should be done in June; the show could just be cancel when it happens in June, and it’s pretty clear that 20th Century Fox will not own the right to the show after these few seasons are over. It’s going to be very interesting to see what happens with this the show has been on for about 30 plus years and it’s a pretty great testament to the show that it has gone on for this long. I believe that their other show family guy is still going on and is still gonna be on the air after the merger happens.
Disney said that June is the day that they expected the merger to be completed so it should be interesting to see how this all works out.
