Sevagoth Prime is finally here in Warframe and you know what that means, right? Get those spare Formas ready, because a Prime Warframe needs a proper build. This is one Sevagoth you wouldn’t want in Helminth’s belly, and you might as well give him a proper treatment. Our Warframe Sevagoth Prime build should allow you to take him to Steel Path and beyond.

Before we show the build, here’s some brief information about Sevagoth Prime’s whereabouts. If you’re not too keen on spending your hard-earned Platinum, you have to farm for Sevagoth using Relics in Warframe.

This is your cheat sheet for Sevagoth Prime Parts locations:

Sevagoth Chassis BlueprintAxi S17
Sevagoth Systems BlueprintLith C12
Sevagoth Neuroptics BlueprintMeso A7

Start hoarding those Axi S17s because it’s the rarest Relic that will drop Sevagoth Prime Parts. Of course, you could always just wait a few days or weeks and trade with someone in Warframe.market for the full set which typically costs around 100+ Platinum once the supply has gone up. Currently, the trading for Sevagoth Prime sets is at 140+ Platinum.

All that effort shouldn’t go to waste, so here’s a proper build for Sevagoth Prime.

With this kind of setup, you can expect to drop around 2-4 Forma, thanks to Sevagoth Prime’s polarized slots, you can save up on them. Additionally, using Streamline over Equilibrium might be worth it even if you don’t use Blind Rage since Equilibrium can be costly.

You will need to compensate for it with Amber Archon Shards, of course. Sevagoth can be an Energy-hungry nuker Warframe.

Arcanes for the Sevagoth Prime Build

Before we get to the Archon Shards, you first need to put the right Arcanes to make this build more sustainable. Thankfully, it’s not too expensive. The focus is more on Ability Strength though nothing’s stopping you from throwing in an Arcane Energize if you want. That might eliminate the need for Equilibrium and free up a mod slot.

In any case, put these in:

  • Molt Augmented
  • Arcane Reaper

The second one is more flexible. You can replace it with either Arcane Guardian, Energize, or Strike. Molt Augmented, on the other hand, is just too good to exclude.

Archon Shards for the Sevagoth Prime Build

The shard setup for our Sevagoth Prime build is simple enough. Make sure you have these below– and of course, Tauforged variants are ideal:

  • 2x Amber Archon Shards (Casting Speed & Energy Orb Efficiency)
  • 2x/3x Crimson Archon Shards (Strength)
  • 1x/2x Azure Archon Shard (Energy Max)

If you managed to slot in Primed Flow instead of Equilibrium, you can likely forego the Azure Archon Shards to focus on Ability Strength and ensure your Gloom has higher Slow right off the bat. That should lend more to your survivability and damage.

Overall, it’s a balancing act with Sevagoth depending on how well you prioritize sustainability and damage.

Sevagoth Prime Build Playstyle

As always with caster or nuker frames, there’s a certain rotation you want to observe so you can get the most out of the build. Don’t worry, this Sevagoth Prime build isn’t too complex or almost rhythmic compared to something like Dante.

  1. Cast the 3rd Ability (Gloom). This will slow down enemies.
  2. Cast the 2nd Ability (Sow) on enemies. This will mark enemies.
  3. Use the 1st Ability (Reap) to kill the marked enemies.
  4. Build up your Death Well with the Sow and Reap combo.
  5. Once the Death Well is full, use the 4th Ability (Exalted Shadow) and use the 1st and 3rd Abilities to group and debuff enemies before killing them in melee mode.
  6. Recharge the Death Well by repeating steps 2 to 4.
  7. Once you reach 250 kills, recast your 3rd Ability (Gloom) for a stronger Slow.
  8. If your shield breaks, use either Reap or Sow to refill it back up and activate Shield-gating.

You only need to worry about Eximus units, Nullifiers, and Acolytes. But you can easily dispatch those anyway depending on your weapon or your timing for Sow and Reap. Get out there and harvest souls.
