If you haven’t moved on from Tenet weapons in Warframe in the advent of more Incarnon weapons, there’s something new for you. Tenet Glaxion is the newly-added Tenet weapon in Warframe. It’s proven to be a promising addition to the game’s arsenal of intergalactic boomsticks. Once you’ve finally gotten your hands on it, this is my recommended Warframe Tenet Glaxion build.

Tenet Glaxion Mods, Arcanes, & Forma

For this particular build I have in mind, expect to sink in at least 3-5 Forma. That already takes into account the increased mod capacity of Tenet weapons (+2 max mod capacity per Forma).

You can blame Galvanized mods for that increased need for Forma. You’ll want all three Galvanized mods for the Primary weapons equipped for this Tenet Glaxion build. This way, it can go toe-to-toe with even the Incarnon weapons (not the best ones though). In any case, this is the mod configuration, not expensive, thankfully.

I also recommend either Heat or Radiation for the progenitor element. Additionally, Tenet Glaxion, like the original Glaxion, deals innate Cold damage.

ModEffectAlternative(s)
Vigilante SuppliesConverts Secondary ammo pickups to 30% of Ammo Pick Up.Sinister Reach for additional range.
Galvanized Chamber+80% Multishot | On Kill:
+30% Multishot for 20s. Stacks up to 5x.
Split Chamber, but it will be weaker.
Galvanized ScopeOn Headshot:

On Headshot Kill:
+40% Critical Chance when Aiming for 12s. Stacks up to 5x.
Argon Scope is a more relaxed alternative. Use Bane or faction mods if you don’t like aiming.
Galvanized Aptitude+80% Status Chance |
On Kill:
+40% Direct Damage per Status Type affecting the target for 20s. Stacks up to 2x.
Rifle Aptitude. But again, it will be weaker.
Vital Sense+120% Critical DamageConsider using Primed Shred if you don’t use Galvanized Scope or Argon Scope.
Critical Delay+200% Critical Chance
-20% Fire Rate (x2 for Bows)
Helps turn Tenet Glaxion into a crit weapon.
Vile Acceleration+90% Fire Rate (x2 for Bows)
-15% Damage
Primed Shred increases area reach.
Malignant Force+60% Toxin | +60% Status ChanceInfected Clip, but you might need more Forma.
High Voltage+60% Electric | +60% Status ChanceStormbringer, but you might need more Forma.

The Tenet Glaxion deals two kinds of elements right off the bat. It has innate Cold damage, like the original Glaxion, but you can add another element depending on the Tenet weapon progenitor element you choose. Radiation is a solid choice as it adds a bit of crowd control.

However, you can also choose Heat for additional armor stripping especially against Grineer or Corrupted enemies.

Arcanes for the Tenet Glaxion Build

Your Arcane choice can be flexible depending on the effect you want or on which status you want to capitalize.

Regardless, these Primary Arcanes are all easy to obtain and max out.

  • Primary Frostbite – Good damage boost all around as long as you’re triggering the Cold status effect which is always on.
  • Primary Deadhead – Since you’ll usually be taking advantage of Galvanized Scope, you might as well use Primary Deadhead.
  • Primary Merciless – This one’s a good placeholder until you get Primary Frostbite or Primary Deadhead.

Primary Frostbite is the most relaxed and most beneficial out of all three but only if you can ensure a consistent up-time for your Galvanized Scope effect.

As you can imagine, this Tenet Glaxion build for Warframe deals well with armor thanks to the Corrosive combo. You can opt to replace it with Viral but that’s not ideal since it’s not a Bleed or Slash build.

If you couple Corrosive with Heat or if your Warframe or team has Corrosive Projection as their aura, then you don’t have to worry about armor stripping. With that said, not all enemies in Warframe have armor, so Radiation is still a good choice for an all-rounder Tenet Glaxion.

Tenet Glaxion’s beam also chains between enemies so all you have to worry about is aiming and hitting headshots. If you’re fighting Corpus, you can also choose to replace Corrosive with the Magnetic element to deal with shields and machine enemies.

That’s a lot of options for a single weapon, and Tenet Glaxion might just be the most versatile beam weapon right now in Warframe.

Warframe is available on PC (Windows), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and iOS.
