The next-gen version is releasing on December 15th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. It’s close to the maxed settings of a PC and much better than past-generation consoles. The game already works well both on PS4 and Xbox One. But if your choice is experiencing the open world with shiny graphics, then the next-gen patch is what you’re looking for. The game’s current version is also playable on the new-generation consoles, but they’re at the same quality as the past generation. Fortunately, if you own the game’s current version, you’ll be able to upgrade to the new version for free.
It’s subtle to see those updates for free. CDPR did the same thing for Cyberpunk 2077, such a great chance for the new-generation console users.
