We’ve all seen different types of nasty behavior in public, but some people really take the nasty crown, especially when they act up in front of kids. One mother in New Orleans, Louisiana, was caught on camera as she started twerking at a stadium and in front of children. Despite repeated warnings from others — including audience members and children who looked visibly uncomfortable — the woman didn’t stop. Unsurprisingly, the internet quickly caught on, with many roasting her for the inappropriate behavior.
The clip was fittingly shared on the r/IAmTheMainCharacter subreddit. In it, you can see a stadium full of people and a woman with a mask, inappropriately twerking in front of everyone. While some people seem to be cheering for her, the truth is, the majority of the audience appear fed up with her antics. There is even one woman who stands up and tells the lady to “stop moving her butt” near the children. However, as expected from a woman with this lack of self-awareness, she didn’t stop, which just sparked even more outrage.
What makes the whole situation even more infuriating is that this lady seems to be looking for attention, as, despite the complaints of many, the faces of the audience clearly showing their disdain for her, she just continues doing it, either hoping for people to tell her something or just to cause problems with everyone at the stadium.
As you can imagine, Redditors didn’t hold anything back when looking at this woman’s actions, and were not kind at all when shaming her. “These poor kids…my heart hurts for them,” commented one user. “This broke my whole heart, man. She doesn’t care about anybody but herself. Everyone in the stands is so uncomfortable, I can only imagine how her own children feel. They both want to disappear,” said another user.
The truth is that we also feel bad for this woman’s kids. This is not proper behavior from a parent, either in public or at home. Parents should be setting an example, not causing a scene at a stadium full of people.
Some people think she may have done this intentionally, since she wore a mask the entire time, making her much harder to identify. Our hope is that the authorities take action, and that she thinks twice before attempting such inappropriate stunts in public again.
