Particular things have a unique way of bringing the entire community together. One such case would be catching the “bathroom bandit,” a man who had been recording girls while they used the toilet at Alabama University.
A video posted on X, formerly Twitter, showed a couple of people waiting outside the bathroom door as the man came out. “No, this was who was recording me, y’all. Call DPS!!” a lady noted. As the man was desperately trying to escape, another lady struggled to contain the man who was. He eventually got out, pushing past other ladies and running into the hallway, but the people were bent on apprehending him.
“He got something in his pocket,” the person behind the camera noted, “Don’t let him go, that’s him. Get him, please,” she added, her voice reflecting the urgency of the moment. “Get that [expletive]!” a man screamed as the young lady who had been struggling with him tackled him to the floor. Eventually, another man ran towards them and held the culprit in a chokehold on the floor.
“Y’all they done finally caught the bathroom bandit. This man was at Alabama A&M University, in Huntsville, Alabama, recording the folks when they use the bathroom, the ladies,” the person behind the camera explained at the end of the clip, showing the guilty party surrounded by police men.
X users had plenty to say upon watching the clip. “As soon as I heard ‘get that [expletive]’, I knew it was cooked for dude,” one joked. A couple of users appreciated the people who held onto the culprit until security came. “Big ups to the young lady who prevented the pervert from escaping & the dude who eventually tackled him. The others were just worthless, nosy onlookers,” one user stated. “Big shout out to the guy that ran down on his [expletive]. Love a man that help women!” another praised.
“Expulsion is not enough. Put his face on every billboard in the city so everyone knows exactly who they are looking at,” one netizen stated bluntly. “That’s one way to make a bad impression on campus,” another user added. “He united the whole community against him,” someone else noted. ome users classified what the man was doing as a sort of fetish. “What? Is that some new fetish? What’s wrong with people these days?” one asked. “Another dude with a scat fetish! Lock every single one of them up!” a second one responded.
