ICE appeared to escalate tensions in Minnesota after agents attempted to arrest a man by surrounding his home with their vehicles. However, the encounter did not unfold as they may have expected.

Crazy ICE experiences yesterday! Four ICE vehicles boxed me in outside my own house after following me home and trying to have me arrested. Watch the video for details!

But one thing was clear: ⁰⁰Despite the drawdown, ICE is still here. They’re stalking legal observers in our… pic.twitter.com/e6fhwPPZXY

— Matt Little (@LittleCongress) February 19, 2026

An X user identified as Matt Little shared a video detailing his experience. “We caught up with ICE in my childhood neighborhood,” he began, explaining that there were three agents present. According to him, as the agents attempted to drive away, they led him into a small parking lot. “As they started to drive off, they took us to this tiny little parking lot,” he said. He further claimed that one of the agents blew him a kiss during the encounter. He alleged that when they were unable to shake him, the agents made what he described as illegal driving maneuvers through the neighborhood. However, because it was his childhood neighborhood, he said he knew the area well and was able to keep up with them.

“They took us back to my house,” he continued, explaining that two additional ICE agents in separate vehicles were already there. “And as we pulled up, they blocked the road and parked us in and then stood outside the windows.” He claimed the agents accused him of doing “illegal stuff” and told him they were calling local authorities. He maintained that it was legal for him to follow them and argued they had no grounds to arrest him for doing so. “You were impeding an investigation,” the agents responded. According to him, he countered their claim, after which the agents went silent and eventually drove off minutes later.

He stated that he attempted to follow again but alleged that Minnesota agents blocked his car and coordinated with other SUVs to box him in traffic, after which he lost sight of them. The video concluded with him asserting that there was no need for ICE agents. The comment section quickly filled with reactions from viewers.

“ICE is bored and just wants to intimidate us. We’re not intimidated,” one user wrote. “Hope you’re staying safe! It’s abundantly clear ICE is intimidating observers,” another commented. A third commenter penned, “I think observers should be passing out bottles of Midol to those poor ICE boys. They are waaay too emotional,” while another added, “They are terrorizing and endangering people. And traumatizing children.”

This comment read, “Bored ICE agents are dangerous. Thank you for occupying their time so they didn’t bother our neighbors,” while this user praised, “Another hero added to the list 👌You outsmarted them👌.” A similar remark read, “Extra protection over this man! They’re probably like why does this white guy care so much.✊”

One commenter wrote, “This is insane. Matt Little is the frontrunner for the open congressional seat in CD2, and ICE went to his house to intimidate him for legally observing their actions in Minnesota. Matt is openly campaigning against funding ICE, and agents showed up at his house. [Expletive] ICE.”
