The third of the Harbingers to become available (I’m really sorry, La Signora fans), Arlecchino is set to be one of the best Pyro DPS’ in Genshin Impact. But is there a way to make sure you will be fully ready for her arrival? To help you with that, here are five things all Genshin Impact players must do to be fully prepared for the debut of The Knave.
5. Save Fragile and Buy Transient Resin
Given how both her best overall artifact set and boss ascension material will only become available during Version 4.6, you must save the means to get them. A feat you can accomplish by saving Fragile and Transient Resin.
But when I say save, I mean to go overboard, as taking into account only her ascension weekly boss material and the rate at which they usually drop — two per attempt — you will need to expend around 960 Resin to get all the Boss Materials needed to ascend Arlecchino to level 90.
How to Get Fragile and Transient Resin
You can get Original Resin in Genshin Impact by purchasing packs at the game’s shop. Players can also get it as a milestone reward by reaching certain Sacred Sakura, Tree of Dreams, and Fountain of Lucine levels. You can also get up to five as part of each Battle Pass season. This number will increase to 10 and 15 if you upgrade your Battle Pass to Gnostic Hymm and Chorus, respectively.
On the other hand, you can get Transient Resin by purchasing it from Tubby at your Teapot. Each unit will cost 1.600 Realm Currency and expire within a week.
4. Skip All 4.5 Banners
As obvious as it might sound, unless you plan on putting in a considerable amount of money to get her, skipping on the banners of the version preceding her release is a must-do.
This is even more vital for those who plan on getting her signature weapon, as soft pity only triggers on around your 70th pull in Genshin Impact. This means that even if you manage to secure the guaranteed featured 5-star pull by losing the 50/50 on both banners, you will still need to spend an average of 10,000 Primogems to get both Arlecchino and her weapon.
3. Build Bennett (If You Haven’t Already)
Arlecchino will be an ATK-based main DPS and for that reason, Bennett will be her premier battery/buffer, a cornerstone in almost all of her teams, and the best overall support for her — a spot he shares with Furina.
True to that, having a Bennett locked and loaded for combat will allow you to push Arlecchino’s damage to new heights. Don’t forget to check out the best build for him in Genshin Impact to make sure your Bennett is ready. As a side tip, building an Anemo Viridescent Venerer support will also not hurt. I also recommend maxing out either your Yelan or Xingqiu if possible.
2. Assemble a Back-Up Artifact Set
True to the fact that her best pick is set to debut together with her, the only way to get Arlecchino fit for combat from the get-go will rely on setting aside an alternative artifact set for her. Make sure your chosen set features either a perfect Pyro DMG Bonus Goblet of Eonothem or a great Circlet of Logos since that will allow you to use one of them as a joker piece together with her best set, and will save you a lot of time and resources when building her.
You can check out the best substats for each piece in our Best Arlecchino Build and Team Compositions guide. The guide also features a list of the best weapons for her, including two great F2P alternatives.
1. Start Farming Rainbow Roses
Arlecchino will need a total of 168 Rainbow Roes to go from level 1 to 90 in Genshin Impact, so farming the item early will allow you to fully focus on grabbing her more limited resources, as well as on completing quests, hangouts, and all side-quests needed to get the most out of version 4.6.
A maximum of 86 Rainbow Roses are currently available per 3-day cycle in the game (81 from the environment and five from Eugenie at the Court of Fontaine). You can check out the exact location of all of them in our All Arlecchino Material Locations in Genshin Impact guide.
You can play Genshin Impact on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices.
