In just a matter of days, we’re finally entering May. And to send us off, Nintendo is releasing a new Pokemon game among 18 other brand new titles in the eShop. Let’s see what they have to offer in the last week of April 2021.

New Releases This Week

Two new classic titles headlines this week’s Nintendo eShop releases. First, New Pokemon Snap. A continuation to the fan-favorite Nintendo 64 title, here your task is to explore the lush scenery of the Lental region to snap photos of wild Pokemon in their natural habitats. Then, after completing a course, you can edit aspects of your photo in Re-Snap mode for a personal touch and share them with family and friends. You can even grab some free Nintendo Points from the Explore the Lental Region website. And second, R-Type Final 2, the latest game from the long-running shoot-em-up series, R-Type. Fans of space-themed arcade side-scrolling shooters wouldn’t want to miss this out.

Meanwhile, Super Mario Party just got an online mode update and Apex Legends will be getting the Legacy update on May 4, adding a new game mode, Legend, and Battle Pass. Compared to past weeks, there aren’t that many new Nintendo eShop releases for this and next week, but in total there are still 19 new games coming out:

  1. Angels with Scaly Wings (April 30).
  2. Battle Axe.
  3. Before I Forget.
  4. Car Demolition Clicker.
  5. Castaway Paradise.
  6. Crime Opera: The Butterfly Effect.
  7. Dull Grey (May 5).
  8. Fly TOGETHER!.
  9. Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager.
  10. New Pokemon Snap (April 30).
  11. R-Type Final 2 (April 30).
  12. Reknum Cheri Dreamland.
  13. Retro Space Fighter.
  14. Slinki.
  15. Space Warrior.
  16. Super Arcade Soccer 2021 (April 30).
  17. Super Glitch Dash.
  18. The Colonists (May 4).
  19. Ultimate Custom Night (April 30).
