A since-deleted TikTok video posted by a woman in Oregon has caused widespread outrage online after she made alarming statements about what she claimed she might do if Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) ever came to take her children. In the short clip, the woman began by asking other mothers whether they shared the same concerns she had regarding the ongoing ICE raids happening in various states across the U.S.
Saying that she was “literally separating from reality right now,” the woman spoke about her fears that ICE could one day come knocking on her door to take her children, even though she did not state anywhere in the video that she or her children were undocumented. She also opened up about having intrusive and deeply troubling thoughts about harming herself and her children as a way to avoid what she believed would happen if they were taken by authorities. “This is not the life I wanted, but that is a very dark thought that I’ve had,” she said. “Death would be [an] easier out than for my children to be taken and harmed.”
Video Sparks Alarm Over Children’s Safety
The woman’s remarks raised serious concern among viewers, not only because of how extreme they were, but because she appeared to frame them as thoughts she had genuinely considered rather than a passing or hypothetical fear. Although she later deleted the video following heavy backlash, clips were reposted across multiple platforms, where they quickly racked up millions of views.
Additional concern grew after another video of the woman resurfaced, in which she admitted that she had purchased a weapon despite previously saying she never wanted one, explaining that “this country is scary” right now.
That admission, paired with her earlier statements involving her children, further intensified fears about their safety. Child Protective Services has reportedly been notified.

In the comments, many viewers expressed deep concern for the children and questioned why the woman believed ICE would target her family in the first place. “Someone find the dad. He needs full custody ASAP,” one person wrote. Another said, “Those kids need to be rescued.” A third added, “The thought of these people having children makes me pray even harder. The children always suffer, don’t they?”
Several viewers also questioned the logic behind her fears. “Why would she or her children be taken and harmed by ICE? Are they undocumented or criminals? If not, she’s fine,” one comment read. Another bluntly stated, “She’s obviously a citizen. Why would she actually believe ICE would be after her or her children? Mental illness.”
