If you play Warzone then you’ll know that every time you play Urzikestan or Fortune’s Keep maps you see a Philip Graves pre-match cutscene. But did you know there’s a wild bug that sees the player execute themselves while the rest of the characters go about their business as if nothing has happened? Neither did we, but now we’ve seen it and we cannot unsee it!
Reddit user Kempert has shared a Warzone community post that shows a pre-match cutscene. We see Black Noir, and then Timothée Chalamet’s Dune skin bugs out and slaughters itself. Oops.
As Graves keeps on talking, the player is executed right in front of him. Now the whole scene of other players’ operators acting like nothing happened is funny, but it gets a man laughing on the floor when Timothée Chalamet is bleeding out and Graves simply offers him a chute.
We’ve seen bugs like players being damaged on the deployment plane, but this one is a very rare occurrence in Call of Duty: Warzone. The first thing that reaches the assumption room here is that the player is probably being executed before the cutscene rolls in. That’s why we see Timothée Chalamet not feeling ok in this Warzone stage. But, that’s not the case.
You can not shoot or perform execution moves on opponents five seconds before the start of the match. So, this is a random Warzone bug, happening for no observable reason. Seen flying doors on Vondel? Just like those.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 Reloaded starts today, and the best we can hope for is to just be able to log in to the game, unlike Season 1 and its sequel. So if everything is alright and fixed with the launch of the Season 2 Reloaded update, we get to see new changes to the Warzone like the new POI in Fortune’s Keep and an anti-camper Killstreak today.
Call of Duty: Warzone is currently available to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
