Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner appear to be getting closer by the day. The couple, who have been dating for more than two years, have been hitting the town a lot as of late, and they definitely aren’t strangers to sharing some major PDA. However, just because their romance continues to be a steamy one, it doesn’t mean that the Oscar-nominated actor is going to give in to the demands of her famous reality TV family.
According to a report by Globe Magazine, Timothee Chalamet is refusing to let the Kardashian clan use his fame to further their agenda. The star may be head over heels for Kylie Jenner, but he’s standing his ground when it comes to being sucked in by Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and the rest of the crew. He allegedly knows exactly what the KarJenner family is up to, and he’s keeping them at bay.
“Kris, Kim, and Khloe can’t understand why he’s so antisocial and downright snobby towards them,” an insider revealed. “They’ve extended endless invites to family gatherings, fancy restaurants, and weekends away in Palm Springs.”
Despite all of the invitations and hopes to get to know Chalamet better, nothing has worked for the Kardashians as of yet. Meanwhile, if Timothee has anything to say about it, he’ll keep dodging their advances.

“Timmy appreciates that Kylie’s family is trying to get to know him, but he’s wise enough to be aware that they almost certainly have ulterior motives, like getting him onto The Kardashians and using his name and connections for networking purposes.”
However, Chalamet’s not completely rude to Jenner’s family. He has spent time with the brood in the past. However, he always finds a way to dip out early. “Timmy refusing to get sucked into the Kardashian clown show,” one fan wrote via Reddit.
“Once in a while Timmy obliges but he’s rarely there longer than an hour, and any time he can find an excuse to bail, he does,” the source says. “The guy knows what he’s doing, he’s getting a ton of free PR by dating Kylie and she’s giving him the sex of his life,” the insider continued. “But as far as being wrapped into the Kardashian world, he’s got zero interest whatsoever.”
Chalamet allegedly doesn’t want to fall victim to the Kardashian curse, a widely known fan theory that the men who get involved with the famous family end up facing career, legal, and even health struggles. The curse has said to have extended to several of the women’s former loves such as Kris Humphries, Reggie Bush, Tristan Thompson, and Scott Disick.
“Timmy’s seen the likes of Caitlyn Jenner, Kanye West, Lamar Odom, and so many others who’ve been ruined once Kris got her claws into them. He’ll be damned if that’s his path,” the informant added.
