Command On-The-Go with Elite Squad

Assemble your best Rainbow Six squad to fight alongside The Division‘s finest soldiers, El Sueño, Sam Fisher, and many others in Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad.

During Ubisoft Forward, the all-digital showcase brought in-depth looks at many anticipated titles from the publisher’s slate of projects. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla gave us more world background into Eivor’s Viking ventures; Hyper Scape aims to change the Battle Royale genre with a Ready Player One-esque universe where players plug into virtual combat, and Far Cry 6 introduced the villainy of Giancarlo Esposito’s character amid a violent revolution.

TOM CLANCY'S ELITE SQUAD - UBISOFT FORWARD TRAILER

Splinter Cell Phone

One of the smaller-scale surprises we were treated with was a trailer for the upcoming Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad for mobile devices. It features various characters from the Tom Clancy universe on a mission to recruit El Sueño from Ghost Recon Wildlands. The fighters of Siege‘s Caveria and Montagne are wounded on the battlefield, and it’s up to some good-timing teamwork from their fellow companions to save them and continue on with the objective.

The trailer ends with Sam Fisher from the Splinter Cell series rescuing El Sueño from captivity, as a nearby explosion echoes with a title card for the game.

Elite Squad will be a military RPG for iOS and Android devices. Players will lead 5v5 squads comprised of characters of their choices in either PvP or Guild vs. Guild battles throughout many popular maps from the Tom Clancy universe. The game will also feature a campaign mode where the unconventional team-up of the Elite Squad initiative must take down a chaotic terrorist organization by the name of UMBRA.

Players can pre-register now to exclusively secure Montagne’s M1911 pistol.

Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad will be arriving on iOS and Android later this summer on August 27.
