Ubisoft has just released a new PC trailer for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint showing the game’s dedicated PC features. The cinematic trailer revealed PC gamers will be able to fully customize Ultra settings and controls and enjoy native 4K resolution. Moreover, the game will come with a no-framerate locks feature, allowing PC gamers to take advantage of the latest GPU capabilities, and ultra-wide and multi-monitor support.
Ubisoft also said the PC version of Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be among the first games to support AMD’s new tech, FidelityFX, a collection of high-quality post-process effects aimed at optimizing GPU usage.
As if all of this was not enough, the game will also feature with Tobii eye-tracking support and will include a benchmark tool.
Ubisoft hasn’t yet announced the PC requirements for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, but as an open-world shooter, they’re expected to be quite demanding even on the latest generation of gaming PCs.
Announced by Ubisoft in May, the game will be playable solo or in up to four-player co-op, and will place gamers in Auroa, a green island where technically advanced militias will face each other amidst tall trees and damp swamps. Players will have to deal with challenges such as slopes, accumulating injuries, and fatigue as they try to survive in the varied terrains of Auroa.
They will also have to face The Walking Dead and The Punisher star Jon Bernthal in the shoes of Cole Walker as the game’s main villain.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint will officially be released on October 4 for PC as an Epic Game Store Exclusive, together with PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia versions.
In the meantime, while registration for the September beta started in early June, you could still sign up for a chance to participate in it on Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s official website.
