Over the past few weeks, there have been a ton of set photos and videos to come out of the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home. You can see a few of those images down below:
That last image comes from Spider-Man actor Tom Holland himself. The actor took to Instagram to announce that the film had just finished filming and gave us another look at Spidey’s new outfit.
Last night, Holland made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel in the new digs, giving us our first official look at the Far From Home suit. You can see the full video below:
The highlight of the reveal is the cheeky response to Kimmel’s questioning of Spider-Man: Far From Home’s place in the MCU timeline. For those of you who don’t know, Tom Holland is notoriously known for his inability to keep a secret. He accidentally spoiled Avengers: Infinity War while attending a screening for the very same movie. Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Doctor Strange in the MCU, was alongside Holland for the Infinity War press tour and perhaps saved the young actor from revealing some pretty big scenes.

The new suit is…not what I expected (which isn’t a bad thing). In my opinion, it actually looks similar to Miles Morales’ version of the Spidey suit, especially with the gloves. Spider-Man: Far From Home looks to feature multiple costumes for the web-head, including his original Stark gear and an adaptation of the Spider-Man Noir costume.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to take place just a few minutes after the events of Avengers 4. Jake Gyllenhaal will play Mysterio, who is expected to be the film’s main antagonist. Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders will also be major additions to the Far From Home cast.
You can expect to see Spider-Man: Far From Home in theaters July 5th, 2019.
