Tom Selleck has declared war against his Blue Bloods co-star, Donnie Wahlberg. He is furious and feels his former friend has deliberately betrayed him. Because of this, the two men are feuding, and it doesn’t look like it will end anytime soon.
Sources close to the Blue Blood situation say things are heated. Tom, 80, put up quite a fight trying to save the show. As time goes by, he continues to struggle in many ways since the series was officially canceled after 14 seasons. Until then, Tom Selleck remained a working actor for more than six decades. So the change has been devastating for him.
Tom was just starting to accept his fate when he found out the news regarding the new spin-off Boston Blue. Radar Online reports sources close to Selleck reveal he is not taking the news well at all. Not only is he seething over the spin-off, he can’t believe Donnie Wahlberg will be the star.

Things are tense between Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg, and those close to them are concerned. Not only is he upset over being left out, but recent reports reveal the aging actor is allegedly worried about his finances and worries about losing his 63-acre ranch.
He also feels the spin-off series makes little sense. The new show’s storyline will revolve around Wahlberg’s character Danny Reagan’s move to join the Boston police department.
Donnie Wahlberg Stabs Tom Selleck In The Back
Tom Selleck claims he is not fooled and calls BS on the entire thing. He believes the ‘spin-off‘ is garbage and the show is a reboot. “This is a HUGE betrayal, the source said “The Reagans never left New York. Now Danny’s just up and moving to Boston? Selleck is furious, it’s like throwing the rest of the castaway, including the star.”
The worst part for the former Friends actor is that he thought of himself as a father figure to Donnie Wahlberg. He took Donnie under his wing and showed him the ropes, and now he feels betrayed by Wahlberg.

Selleck’s friends claim the actor had no clue a spin-off was even in discussion. Tom is said to be putting on a brave face. Deep down, the seasoned actor secretly hopes he will be needed for the series and called back into action.
So far, Donnie Wahlberg isn’t talking much, and when asked about Tom Selleck, he describes him as a great mentor. As far as Tom is concerned, Donnie should have stood up for his friend and refused to do the show without him. Because that failed to happen, and Selleck is holding a grudge. He considers this the end of his relationship with Wahlberg.
