Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado posted a short outdoor video of House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan on Saturday, thanking him and asking supporters to donate so she can keep fighting for farmers, ranchers, small businesses, and community water, and “defeat the socialists that are on the rise.” Online users reacted after the fundraising pitch, with many replies saying the two lawmakers do not deliver results and that Jordan “doesn’t do anything” beyond television appearances. The post included a link to her campaign donation page.
The video shows Rep. Jim Jordan standing outdoors in a light blue shirt, with trees and bright sun behind him. He says, “We need to make sure we keep Lauren Boebert in Congress. She’s a fighter, you all know it.” He adds that she is “fighting for the values and the principles that make America the greatest country ever,” and closes with, “Make sure you vote for Lauren. Keep her fighting for you and your family and the United States Congress.” The clip does not show a farm, a water project, or a donation, and it does not say where it was filmed.
In the caption, Boebert wrote, “Thank you, @Jim_Jordan,” and said she is “fighting for the farmers and ranchers who put food on America’s tables, the small businesses that keep our Main Streets open, and the water our communities can’t live without.” She asked supporters to “chip in” to “defeat the socialists that are on the rise,” and linked to a WinRed page.
Separate from the post, her office said on Sept. 30 that the House passed the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 in April and that she is now calling on the Senate to act, saying Colorado producers ‘deserve timely certainty.’ On Sept. 28 in Lone Tree, she called for a pause on diesel exports so farmers and ranchers are not “filling tanks at record prices.” Laubacher, in the Denver Post Q&A, also said she would work to pass a farm bill and support rural hospitals.
How Viewers Are Responding to the Fundraising Pitch
Some replies rejected the ask. One wrote, “Jim Jordan doesn’t do anything other than complain on Fox News.” Another said, “You haven’t earned it,” and a third wrote, “DO SOMETHING, please. Too much talking. No action.”
A longer reply said politicians are “always asking for money” and “never get anything done other than get the money.” The response wasn’t aimed only at Boebert.
One commenter split the two, writing, “Lauren yes. Do nothing, Jim, vote him out.”
Others pushed back on the “socialists” line, with one saying Republicans “are not friends of ranchers and farmers,” and another arguing that farm aid under current policy looked like the bailout Boebert was campaigning against.
The Colorado 4th District race is still underway, and the clip adds one more exchange to the debate over what Boebert and Jordan have delivered for farmers and ranchers.
