PvP is one of the best things about the Ark Survival Evolved. Trying to figure out the best dinos for PvP raids in Ark Survival Evolved can be difficult, especially if you are new to it. There are quite a few different aspects that you need to worry about when it comes to raiding in PvP servers. Not only do you have to focus on high damage output, but you also need to think about dinos who can soak up bullets, dinos who are used for their abilities, or utility dinos. Keep reading to learn about the top 5 best dinos for PvP raids in Ark Survival Evolved.

5. Gasbags

Gasbags are arguably one of the best Utility Dinos for absorbing turret damage. Many players believe this is because they have high health, but that has little to do with it. Gasbags have a high carry weight, so they are great for carrying home the items you find within a base. In addition, Gasbags can take turret fire better than most dinosaurs. However, the Gasbags’ final and most crucial aspect is their utility. Gasbags have an ability that allows them to inflate like balloons. While they are in this inflated state, they take 80% reduced damage.

4. Snow Owl

The Snow Owl is a favorite flyer among Ark Survival Evolved players. There are a couple of reasons for this. First, the Snow Owl has loads of stamina to stay in the sky for long periods. Though, unlike the Argentavis, the Snow Owl’s movement speed is comparable to the Pteranodon, making it a quick way to move around and get from base to base during raids. What makes the Snow Owl essential to take with on raids is its healing utility. Using the Snow Owl’s alternate attack, you can freeze yourself, heal significantly, and heal the tamed animals and players around you.

3. Carbonemys

The Carbonemys has multiple uses, much like the Gasbags and Snow Owl. While the Carbonemys makes for a fantastic tank, it also doubles as a good water mount if you’re raiding an underwater base. The Carbonemys has an obscenely high health stat, which is the primary stat you should be upgrading. Since the Carbo has such high health, it’s fantastic for soaking turrets and taking the brunt of the damage from high-damage enemy dinos and weapons. Typically, you should send in your Carbonemys before approaching an enemy base to divert attention from yourself.

2. Stego

The Stegosaurus is one of the best turret soakers to date and can take loads of damage without losing much health. The Stego has no valuable utilities, but it’s a great one to use nonetheless. If you pair a high-health mutated Stego with a high-armor saddle, it can get you far when raiding PvP bases. Additionally, when an enemy dino or player gets too close to your Stego, it uses impressive tail attacks that deal heavy damage with large, sturdy spikes. A raid isn’t truly a raid without a group of Stegos to drain enemy turrets.

1. Giga

The most essential dino you will ever use in an Ark Survival Evolved PvP base raid is the Giga or Giganotosaurus. The Giga has an enormous amount of damage and health and a useful ability. To begin with, when the Giga’s rage is activated, you will know by its ominous glowing eyes and ability to push others off their saddles. Using this ability, you can take down enemy players that aren’t cowering inside the safety of their bases. Additionally, Gigas are the ideal dino for dealing massive damage to enemy tamed creatures and structures, taking their bases down very quickly. Heading into a PvP raid without at least a few Gigas by your side isn’t a good idea.
