Even before the 2.0 update, Cyberpunk 2077 was full of so much cool cyberware that it was hard to pick a favorite. Despite that, one piece of tech rose to the top of the list for many players: the Sandevistan. This unique cyberware slows down time for those around you. Do you want to have your own Matrix bullet time moment or cut your foes down before they can move? With the Sandevistan you can. There are a number of these upgrades available at various ripperdoc clinics throughout the game, so it can be hard to know what to grab. Here are the best Sandevistans in Cyberpunk 2077 (2.o), ranked from good to must-have.
8. Qiant Warp Dancer Tier 4
- Slows time by 20%
- +18% Mitigation Chance
- +9% Mitigation Strength
- +40% Resistance to Thermal, Chemical, and Electrical Damage
- Max Duration: 9 seconds
- Cooldown: 65 seconds
Most players associate the Sandevistan with offensive capability, and it’s easy to see why. Pure aggression isn’t the only thing this 2.0 cyberware is capable of, however. The Qiant Warp Dancer specializes in defense. It doesn’t provide any buff to Crit Chance or Crit Damage. Instead, it increases your Mitigation Chance and Mitigation Strength as well as buff your Resistances to specific damage types. The result is a character who is much harder to kill and can use the 20% slowdown effect to reposition or escape battle entirely. Just beware of the 65-second cooldown, because you don’t want to be stranded shieldless.
7. Zetatech Tier 4
- Slows time by 30% (grounded) and 60% (midair)
- +9% Damage (grounded) and 18% (midair)
- +35% Headshot and Weakspot Damage (midair)
- -30% fall damage
- Max Duration: 8 seconds
- Cooldown: 35 seconds
Unlike the Qiant and Dynalar, the Zetatech Sandevistan performs differently depending on whether you’re on the ground or in midair. When you’re grounded you get a decent 30% slowdown effect and a modest 9% Damage buff. In midair, however, these buffs double. Falling slowly through the air gives you the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the buffs to headshot and weakspot damage, lining up shots like an action hero. The Zetatech surely ranks amongst the best Sandevistans in Cyberpunk 2.0, though it’s probably one of the most difficult to use properly. Master this unusual tech, however, and you’ll see exactly what makes this game great.
6. Dynalar Tier 4
- Slows time by 50%
- +10% Crit Chance
- +10% Crit Damage
- Max Duration: 9 seconds
- Cooldown: 45 seconds
The Dynalar Tier 4 does everything lower-tier models do, just better. The Tier 4 model grants a 50% slowdown effect as well as +10% Crit Chance and +10% Crit Damage. This upgraded Sandevistan also ensures you’ll have plenty of time to make use of that 10% bonus damage, with an extended Max Duration. Best of all, the Cooldown has fallen from 55 seconds to 45. In the past, reducing Cooldown has been a top priority for most players running Sandevistan builds. Though the 2.0 cyberware balance adjustments will require players to rework some of their favorite builds, the Dynalar Sandevistan Tier 4 helps make that process painless.
5. Militech Falcon Tier 4
- Slows time by 70%
- +5% Damage
- +5% Crit Chance
- +5% Crit Damage
- +10% extended duration (after neutralizing enemy)
- +5% Health (after neutralizing enemy)
- Max Duration: 8 seconds
- Cooldown: 40 seconds
Undoubtedly one of the best Sandevistans in Cyberpunk 2077‘s 2.0 update, the Militech Falcon Tier 4 offers some of the best buffs all in one place. It slows time by a staggering 70%, which by itself is enough to help you beat the game in no time. With buffs to base Damage as well as Crits, you’ll deal more damage no matter what you do. Better yet, neutralizing enemies restores your health and extends the Sandevistan’s duration. Lasting a respectable 8 seconds and leaving Cooldown after just 40, the Falcon makes you better at whatever you do. Whether you’re a master swordsman or an ace shot, the Falcon is one of the best Sandevistans and pieces of 2.0 cyberware around.
4. Zetatech Tier 5
- Slows time by 30% (grounded) and 60% (midair)
- +12% Damage (grounded) and 24% (midair)
- +40% Headshot and Weakspot Damage (midair)
- -30% fall damage
- Max Duration: 10 seconds
- Cooldown: 30 seconds
The Zetatech Sandevistan’s Tier 5 model increases its Damage buff from +9% (ground) and +18% (air) to +12% (ground) and +24% (air). The Headshot and Weakspot Damage bonuses also increased by +5% in midair. These changes make the Zetatech even more formidable when you’re airborne, so if you’ve discovered an affinity for high-flying combat, there’s probably no better fit for your build. The Tier 5 Zetatech also extends its Duration by 2 additional seconds and reduces its Cooldown by 5 seconds compared to the Tier 4 model. Given that some of the other best Sandevistans in Cyberpunk only gain a 1-second buff to Duration at this level, the Zetatech’s advantage is notable.
3. Dynalar Tier 5
- Slows time by 50%
- +15% Crit Chance
- +15% Crit Damage
- Max Duration: 9 seconds
- Cooldown: 40 seconds
Dynalar Sandevistans aren’t the most exciting in Cyberpunk, but in terms of reliability, they are some of the best. The Tier 5 model increases the Crit Chance and Crit Damage bonuses by +5, bringing them both to a solid +15%. Its Duration sadly does not improve, holding firm at 9 seconds, which is one of the few things keeping this Sandevistan back from greatness. There is some good news, however: the Tier 5 model has a Cooldown 5 seconds shorter than the Tier 4. Whether you’re on foot or in your vehicle, this dependable cyberware delivers. Without the incredible stats or unique quirks of its competitors, the Tier 5 Dynalar doesn’t break into the top two spots, but it still ranks amongst the best 2.0 Sandevistans in Cyberpunk 2077.
2. Militech Falcon Tier 5
- Slows time by 70%
- +10% Damage
- +10% Crit Chance
- +5% Crit Damage
- +10% extended duration (after neutralizing enemy)
- +5% Health (after neutralizing enemy)
- Max Duration: 9 seconds
- Cooldown: 35 seconds
The Tier 5 Falcon increases the Damage and Crit Chance buffs from +5% to +10%. It also increases Duration by 1 second and decreases the Cooldown by 5 seconds. Though these may seem like incremental changes, the DPS potential skyrockets because of them. The higher Duration and lower Cooldown mean you’ll spend more time in the Sandevistan’s slowdown effect than before, which inevitably means it’ll be easier to bring a world of pain to your enemies. The Tier 4 Falcon was already top-notch cyberware, and the Tier 5 only increased its reputation for excellence. This is the only clear competitor for the Militech Apogee for the Sandevistan throne, and that’s saying something.
1. Militech Apogee Tier 5
- Slows time by 85%
- +10% Headshot Damage
- +9% Crit Chance
- +13% Crit Damage
- +20% Extended Duration after neutralizing an enemy
- +22% Stamina after neutralizing an enemy
- Max Duration: 8 seconds
- Cooldown: 30 seconds
The Tier 5 Militech Apogee is the definition of OP cyberware and without question one of the best Sandevistans in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. In addition to slowing time by 85%, the Apogee also affords you a number of potent buffs. The most important of these is the +20% Extended Duration you receive after neutralizing an enemy. Combined with the 30-second Cooldown and ability to activate the Apogee at any time, you can effectively extend your Sandevistan slowdown infinitely. Even on the hardest difficulties, the Apogee borders on broken in terms of the value it provides. There’s nothing in Phantom Liberty quite like it, especially on a throwing knife build.
