Tori Spelling admitted during her podcast that she went weeks without taking her daily eye contacts out before getting infected with an eye ulcer. The eye situation forced her to wear an eye patch.
Actress Tori Spelling is something like an open book when it comes to her personal life and struggles. Unlike some other celebrities who are notoriously private, Spelling lets her fans into the innermost chambers of her world.
From her relationship issues to her family drama, Spelling is very comfortable with living everything out in the open. This rare attribute has won her many admirers. More recently, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum has been very vocal about her health struggles.
Back in December, Spelling took to her Instagram page to reveal she had been admitted to the hospital. While sharing a picture of herself in a hospital bed, she claimed she was rushed to the hospital after experiencing difficulty breathing.
Barely a month later, the 49-year-old shared a health update about her daughter Stella, 14. Spelling claimed her daughter was diagnosed with Hemiplegic migraine. However, she noted that Stella was back home and feeling much better.

Tori Spelling’s Eye Ulcer Discussed On Her Podcast
Tori Spelling can’t seem to get a clean bill of health since the year began. The reality star caused a major stir amongst her fans when she stepped out in Los Angeles wearing a bedazzled eye patch.
Fans were concerned about why she had to wear the eye patch and she later revealed she had an ulcer on her eyeball. At the time, she didn’t give any further details about the origin of the eye ulcer.
However, during a recent episode of her 90210MG podcast, Tori Spelling narrated how she got an eye ulcer. While speaking to her long-time friend Jennie Garth, she said:
“It’s so silly, it’s my fault, I did this to myself. So I have contacts, but I have the daily ones, and at the end of the day, kids…whatever…I can make all the excuses I want, I don’t take them out, I sleep in them and it’s not healthy.”
After Garth queried her on how long she keeps her contacts in, Spelling initially joked that she had them in for seven weeks. She later claimed it was more like 20 days while admitting she was ashamed of her careless behavior.
Spelling went on to reveal that her doctor had told her she was lucky not to have sustained a more serious injury. Hopefully, the actress would take her health more seriously. For now, she is focused on getting better and finding another type of contact.
