According to Tori Spelling, what began as a quiet evening quickly turned into something far stranger than she could have imagined. The luxury surroundings did little to prepare them for the jaw-dropping scene that was about to unfold at the foot of their bed.
Tori reveals that their dog Musso alerted her and Dean that something strange was taking place. Spelling details that while Musso was lying on the foot of their bed, he was very engaged in something he had in his mouth. Tori reveals that at first she paid little attention to what the dog was doing.
However, she became concerned that he may have stolen food from their dinner tray. So she decided to take a closer look at what the dog was happily chewing away on. Upon closer inspection, the truth was far more disturbing than Tori Spelling revealed.
The actress pulled the item from the pup’s mouth, and in Tori Spelling’s hands, she found what appeared to be a severed human big toe. She claims the toe was still intact down to the nail bed. Even more unsettling, it appeared freshly cut, not yet showing signs of significant decay. She later determined it belonged to a man, based on its size and appearance.
“Plot twist,” she quipped. “Didn’t see that one coming, did you?”

Oddly enough, Dean and Tori were surprised by the hotel staff’s odd reaction, or rather, lack of. She says the staff did not appear surprised. Or even the least bit horrified by the dismembered toe found in the couple’s swanky hotel room. In fact, they only quietly acknowledged it, and a credit was applied to the couple’s stay.
Even though Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott were left shaken by the events of their stay. The couple made the eyebrow-raising decision to remain in the same room that night. This horror hotel memory is now entered into the long-growing list of Tori Spelling’s personal outrageous experiences.
