Tori Spelling has shared some wild stories on her podcast series. Still, during her recent show, she shared a bizarre story involving teenage Tori, her younger brother Randy Spelling, and a letter opener. It is one of her most bizarre shares so far, and that says a lot.
Randy Spelling, the younger brother of Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling, and his sister had a strange upbringing. Growing up in Hollywood with parents author and producer Candy Spelling and legendary television producer Aaron Spelling, the siblings admit they had a wild upbringing.
However, despite having a celebrity family, Tori Spelling and Randy Spelling say they had a reasonably normal sibling relationship for the most part. That is until Tori and Randy began reminiscing on the August 12 episode of her misSPELLING podcast series.
During their chat, Tori begins sharing some childhood memories with Randy. However, one memory sticks out in her mind above the others.
Tori states, “I think people from the outside perspective probably think there’s nothing relatable about our childhood,” the 51-year-old actress said. “We still had the sibling relationship and we still had the fights, the fun times, all of it. There was the time I tried to stab you.”
Randy Spelling knew exactly the time Tori was talking about. “I feared for my life.’ He went on to describe his side of the dramatic Spelling sibling event. He recalled being very young, between 8 and 9, and entering his then 14-year-old sister’s room while she was gone. However, when she returned and found him in her bedroom, he admits he was terrified.
“The strangest thing [was] you had some sort of weird — when you got mad, you got crazy. You got the crazy eyes,” Randy said. “You got very dramatic, and you came after me with the letter opener.”
Randy And Tori Spelling Laugh Off Their Sibling Drama
Tori Spelling explains that, as normal siblings often do, her brother used to drive her insane. He lurked around her room and often tried to eavesdrop on her phone calls. She claims that she had just started at a new school, an all-girls school, and was having a difficult time adjusting. Being a typical teenage girl, she was very moody and emotional.
So when she entered her bedroom that evening and found Randy Spelling there, she became furious and seemingly lost it. That’s when she said details, grabbing “my letter opener, and I ran out and tried to stab him.”
The brother and sister team began laughing about the silly incident implying kids will be kids. However, Tori Spelling made sure to clarify to her brother Randy Spelling and her misSPELLING podcast listeners that, of course, she never would have actually stabbed him.
The pair continued their walk down memory lane and seemingly put their dramatic sibling past behind them. At least, her listeners hope so.
