Simulation games have long since been a creative mainstay in gaming genres. Whether it is simulator games of recent years or life simulators, it is a prevailing genre that is evolved quite a lot. However, many wondered what the boundaries of such simulation titles were beginning to reach. Yet, Landfall Games decided to push the concept to its limit with an absurdist take on the arena fighting game. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator started with the concept of pitting two opposing forces, red and blue, and seeing which team comes out alive. While the graphics are very polygonal and the fighters extremely wobbly, the game quickly adorned a cult following, amassing new updates with more features and characters, adding to the success of the title. Having retained such long-standing support post-launch, Landfall Games is bringing a brand new way to play TABS. Announced on a new Twitter page, Totally Accurate Mobile Port will bring the TABS action to iOS and Android devices.

While the news and trailer only reveal so much, the news about Totally Accurate Battle Simulator mobile is interesting. The smartphone port looks great and features all characters from the original, but questions about performance have been arising. Landfall Games is currently focused on and working with other upcoming projects. Thus the port is being produced by XD Inc, a Chinese developer known for developing Torchlight Infinite, set to launch later this year. While details about the TABS Mobile port are sparse, support will more than likely be healthy. As mobile phones become more capable of handling more demanding games, the market grows more prominent.
