Tower of Fantasy How to Solve Concentration Ray Puzzles
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Unlike Lava Pits or Chowchow Plants inย Tower of Fantasy, Concentration Rays are a type of puzzle that requires more complex effort from Wanderers while still offering similar rewards. Typically, an open-world puzzle in Aesperia tasks players with conducting a single action or fulfilling a task in a single location.

On the other hand, Concentration Rayย puzzles inย Tower of Fantasyย compel adventurers to search the surrounding area for multiple points of interest, which can be tricky due to the varying verticality of some zones. Nevertheless, regardless of the reward, those looking to achieve 100% World Exploration for a region will need to solve these puzzles.

Solving Concentration Rays in Tower of Fantasy

Solving Concentration Rays in Tower of Fantasy

To solve Concentration Rays inย Tower of Fantasy, Wanderers must search for a collection of connected energy-absorbing devices that lead to a single Nuclei-containing fissure. While one Concentration Ray is designated to open the fissure, it must be activated by conveying the energy from multiple devices within the nearby area.

ZaFrostPet, a diligent guide-creating YouTuberย and active member of theย Tower of Fantasyย community, has provided footage for the solution of a Concentration Ray puzzle located within the Parliament of the Crown Mines region. Here, a fissure can be found atop the overpass walkway connected to the opposite ridge.

To extract the Blackย Nucleus inย Tower of Fantasyย from the fissure, Wanderers must search the nearby area for a Concentration Ray facing directly at the dimensional aperture. This device will not be active, requiring energy from other rays aligned toward each other. Accordingly, the process for transferring the power beam from device to device can be compared to a minigame of “connect the dots.”

The primary challenge of this puzzle is finding each of the Concentration Rays, as they can often be found spread quite far apart from each other.

For simplification, here are the steps for solving Concentration Rays inย Tower of Fantasy:

Step No. Walkthrough Details
1
  • After discovering the Nucleus fissure, scan the surrounding area for the primary Concentration Ray.ย
2
  • Head to the first device, and look for another ray facing the primary one.
3
  • Continue searching, following the trail of rays until reaching the activated device containing energy.
  • Players can distinguish an active ray from an inactive one by the color of the device’s lighting.
  • If the ray has transferrable power, it will glow light blue, while inactive nodes possess a red light.
4
  • Activate each Concentration Ray by simply standing next to it and interacting with it.
5
  • After conveying the beam of energy from the primary ray into the fissure, wait several moments for the Nucleus reward to appear.
