Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: Black Order has released a new trailer. The fresh footage showed a whole group of cast players from the X-Men comics. These are revealed periodically throughout the entire trailer, which can be seen below:
In the trailer, Magneto appeared to be one of the villains with the purple infinity stone (Power Stone) and his henchmen Mystique and Juggernaut. Other scenes showed Night Crawler dropping from the sky and into battle. Then a robot crew targeting Wolverine – looking like Magneto’s bots. Finally, presenting Magneto with the band of Marvel Alliances stating, “Perhaps an alliance is called for after all…”
The playable X-Men characters to appear in Ultimate Alliance 3 are Wolverine, Storm, Scarlet Witch, Magneto, Night Crawler, Psylocke, Mystique, and others. The non-playable character would be Beast and the villain revealed in the trailer was none other than Juggernaut.
Ultimate Alliance originally released back in 2006 on PC, PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube. After receiving mostly positive reviews, a sequel was in the works. Ultimate Alliance 2 came out three years later in 2009 for Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii, and PC. After nearly 10 years, Ultimate Alliance 3: Black Order was announced at The Game Awards 2018. The title would bring back a whole new selection of heroes and villains including the cast from Guardians of the Galaxy. The story will take place with Thanos and his quest to collecting the infinity stones.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 will be an exclusive for the Nintendo Switch. The Action RPG style game will have four-player co-op and at least 33 playable characters to select from. Ultimate Alliance 3: Black Order will release on July 19th, 2019.
