Flashbulb Games has just announced that its popular Trailmakers game will get a huge revamp and bring new modes to take your imagination to the next level. Trailmakers: Pioneers respects all the original gameplay mechanics, but you will be able to try your luck in Survival Mode and the new Campaign Mode. Creativity is still at the front of this game, so you’ll still be building plenty of things, albeit with new improvements. From fast vehicles to armored rides and even mechas, the sky’s the limit when it comes to what you’ll be able to build in this game.
While the game originally launched back in 2018 in early access with a full launch in 2019, Trailmakers: Pioneers is a new version that will bring a facelift to the game. Fortunately, the game will have no additional cost for players on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. So, you can jump into this creative adventure to build all sorts of handy objects in this new sci-fi campaign to deliver supplies or to become space heroes and stop evil corporations. But that’s not all. Flashbulb Games Co-Founder Ole Teglbjærg said this about the launch of Pioneers:
With Pioneers, we’re taking Trailmakers to the next level as a complete reinvention that deepens gameplay, expands creative possibilities, and welcomes a new generation of players.

Trailmakers: Pioneers will arrive on March 6th for those who want to be the first to experience all this new content and revamped mechanics.
Realistic Block-Construction
Trailmakers: Pioneers is not about building for the sake of building. Players will indeed make all kinds of vehicles to explore the open-world sandbox. There are diverse terrains on the huge 10×10 km map, so there will be areas for those who prefer racing or want to test their off-road skills. The real challenge is to create vehicles that adapt to each situation. Players must consider the cars’ weight, the terrain they will cross, and the world’s physics. The transports will be one of your main allies, as with them, you must collect the necessary materials to ensure your survival and that they are sturdy enough to withstand and counter-attack the enemies.
Still, if the challenge seems too much for you alone, you can join forces on a personal server with up to eight friends in the Co-op Mode. You can create your own base with your friends, get more materials, and overthrow BOTNAK. From the incredible CGI trailer, we can see that it’s not just a cozy block-building adventure but overthrowing an entire system that terrorizes the people of a resource-rich planet.
