Kelce can be seen chatting with 49er’s tight end George Kittle in a clip from Netflix’s new docuseries, Receivers. Kelce asks Kittle where he plans to sit with his family for the then-upcoming Super Bowl. Kittle admits he did want to spend the money on a suite.
According to ET Online, Travis Kelce then joked about the price being outrageously high. However, despite that high price, Kelce seemingly still put Taylor Swift in a suite for the big game. Although Swift being a billionaire most likely helped with paying for the tickets.
Did Travis Kelce Forked Over Big Money for Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl Appearance?
After Kittle, 30, mentions his father, Bruce Kittle, will be there, Kelce follows up by inquiring about where he plans to put his family inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. “You guys doing a suite?” Kelce asks the 49ers player. “No, I can’t,” Kittle responds. Before finishing his sentence, Kelce cuts him off, asking with a laugh, “Because they’re f***ng $3 million dollars?” The Chiefs star said.
However, it is not confirmed that Kelce was the one who paid for those suite tickets. Kelce did mention on the New Heights podcast that his Super Bowl appearance would cost him a “pretty penny.” Kelce was trying to figure out how much it would cost for his family and friends to go to the game.
It would not be surprising if Travis Kelce paid for Taylor Swift to attend the game. The two are in a very serious relationship, with their families expecting an engagement soon.
However, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will look to do it all again in this upcoming season. Can the Chiefs three-peat and make history? Only time will tell, as Taylor Swift will surely be there to cheer on her boyfriend.
