Recently, Kelce’s NFL team, The Kansas City Chiefs, shared a video of the players being asked who the most famous contacts in their phone were. When Kelce was asked, the answer seemed like a no-brainer. However, he was told not to name-drop Swift and pick another famous friend instead.
Of course, Kelce wanted to state Swift as the most famous person saved in his contact list. “You already know the easy [answer],” he said, referring to his famous girlfriend. However, he was asked not to give the easy answer. Fans know that the tight end has plenty of high-profile friends, such as Cleveland rapper Machine Gun Kelly, his brother Jason Kelce, and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Nevertheless, he decided to choose another singer, Justin Timberlake, as the most famous person’s number he had saved.

When Travis Kelce was asked if Justin Timberlake would answer a call from him, he said, “No, not a chance.” Kelce went on to reveal that he loved Timberlake but that the singer was a “busy man.” Meanwhile, the athlete dodged any other questions or references to Taylor Swift in the video. However, that hasn’t stopped him from opening up about his girlfriend’s mega fame in the past.
“Obviously, I’ve never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them … I’ve never dealt with it,” Kelce previously told WSJ Magazine about Swift’s level of fame. “The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that, I better not be the one acting all strange.”
Although Taylor Swift’s level of fame is nearly unmatched, Travis Kelce says he’s not running away from it. Instead, he’s embraced his relationship with the singer, and fans love their pairing.
