Travis Kelce is obsessed with the new Taylor Swift album. The three-time Super Bowl champion is gushing over Swift’s new songs just like the rest of the Swifties. Taylor surprised fans with a double album called The Tortured Poets Department last Friday. The artist released 31 new tracks into the world. According to ET, fans were quick to pick out two songs that may be about the Chiefs tight end. The two songs are “The Alchemy” and “So High School.”
Swifties are happy with Travis after he declared that he loves the songs, even though most of them are about Taylor’s ex-boyfriends. There are multiple songs about Matty Healy, the frontman for The 1975. Swift and Healy had been friends for a long time before they briefly dated before she met Kelce. Swift also sings about another ex, Joe Alwyn, whom she dated for six years.
Travis Kelce Is Showing All the Support for Taylor Swift
“Travis is so supportive of the entire album and loves that he is a part of Taylor’s story,” a source tells ET. “He is a Swiftie through and through, and is very proud of her.”
In “The Alchemy,” Taylor makes many football references. One is, “So when I touch down / Call the amateurs and cut ’em from the team / Ditch the clowns, get the crown.” Another is, “There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league / Where’s the trophy? He just comes, running over to me,” Swift declares.
However, that is not where the Travis Kelce references end. Taylor Swift also mentions a new lover with a big sense of humor in her song “So High School.” Travis is known to have a quick sense of humor, and that has even led him to become a gameshow host. It seems clear that these songs are about Kelce.
It is safe to say that Travis and Taylor are doing great. Travis supports his girlfriend in all of her work, and in return, she pushes Kelce to expand his own career. The football player obviously has no problem with Swift writing about her former boyfriends. He’s often gushed about her work ethic and supports her fully.
