Recently, Kanye West seemed to take a shot at Taylor Swift. West mentioned the pop star in a song on his new album, Vultures 2. The rapper also name-dropped Travis Kelce. However, with this West and Swift beef possibly making a comeback, Kelce’s father has gotten involved. Ed Kelce is not shy about taking to Facebook to voice his opinions. He recently made a comment about Swift’s alleged stalker.
Us Weekly reports that Ed Kelce wrote “Mental illness on full display” via a Facebook post. Kanye West’s original line was, “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce.” However, after years of going back and forth with Taylor Swift, this was likely not a friendly name-drop.
Are Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Ignoring Kanye West?
Neither Kelce nor Swift have made a public statement regarding Kanye’s call out. However, Swift did wear a shirt that said, “I bet you think about me” at one of her recent Eras Tour shows. That could have been a possible response from the singer. This beef between West and Swift has been going on for some time now.
It all started back in 2008. Swift had just won the Artist of the Year award at the MTV Music Awards. However, during her acceptance speech, Kanye ripped the mic out of her hand to go on a rant about Beyonce’s music video. Later on, West apologized, and most believed that was the end of that.
However, years later, Kanye stated that he made Taylor Swift famous. This prompted his then-wife, Kim Kardashian, to take his side. This, in turn, sparked another beef between the West family and Swift.
This latest shot at Taylor Swift is different. Now, the singer has Travis Kele by her side. With Travis Kelce comes most of the Kansas City Chiefs, as well as Ed Kelce. Can Kanye West take them all on?
