Tron: Ares will star Morbius actor Jared Leto, the third of the science fiction action-adventure films. Disney is producing the film, and Joachim Rønning is in talks to direct it. Jared Leto has been backing this film since 2017, but now it’s actually happening. Steven Lisberger directed the first film and Joseph Kosinski directed the second. Jesse Wigutow wrote the script, and it will follow the events of the 2010 film Tron: Legacy. Jeff Bridges starred as the video game designer Kevin Flynn in the 1982 science fiction action-adventure film Tron. Flynn is forced to fight in digital gladiatorial games after being transported into his own game. It didn’t do well at the box office. However, critics loved the visual effects. Jeff Bridges reprised his role in the 2010 sequel alongside Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde. Jared Leto is the first actor attached to Tron: Ares.
Jared Leto Has Had Many Box Office Flops Lately
The star had roles in the films Morbius and Suicide Squad. Both of those films were unsuccessful at the box office. Jared Leto feels strongly about the science fiction action-adventure film sequel Tron: Ares. The Tron films have not done very well at the box office. Tron: Ares will be another action film for Jared Leto, but could be more successful than his other projects. He will star in Disney’s upcoming film Haunted Mansion. Leto will also star in Darren Aronofsky’s film Adrift. His attempts at joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Cinematic Universe, are hard to forget. Leto has a lot of faith in the film after backing it for this long. His loyalty to the film has at least paid off. Despite his box office flops, the actor has no shortage of roles thrown his way.
