Trump Assassination Threat Sparks Outrage and Skepticism as Some Think It Could Have Been Staged: ‘So He Can Cosplay Fight Again. Yay’

Haven’t we seen this before?

Many might already know about the recent assassination threat toward President Donald Trump. For the unaware, however, the President is set to attend a rally at a college in Alabama. Yet, it seems three students, who have now been arrested, sent out a threat toward Trump. Even if the situation has been resolved for now, many saw the news about this threat and didn’t take it seriously. It seems several Americans believe that this is yet another alleged staged situation where Trump will come out looking like a hero just to help his image.

'He gotta die': Trump threatened with assassination 'ambush' ahead of rally, suspects said 'we only got one chance let's take it,' federal prosecutors report…

The rally took place a couple of days ago, but before it kicked off, three students from the University of South Alabama allegedly sent an assassination threat to President Trump.

They were arrested this Friday after the FBI found social media posts by the three students. Some of these posts talked about how Trump had to “die,” and one even said he’d remember the university the way everyone remembers the Utah Valley University.

And while all of the above isn’t news per se, as many already saw the event take place and the culprits have been arrested and charged with threatening Trump, some in America are a bit skeptical.

Many remember what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump was victim of an assassination attempt. Yet, many still think to this day that was staged, which has led to many other Americans thinking that this situation could have been another “fake threat,” just to make Trump look like a hero to many.

Many Americans Believe Trump Was Trying to Stage Everything

While all of the above is just speculation, mainly from Redditor commentors, it seems that the general consensus about the averted situation is that it was fake and that if it had happened, the goal would have been to make Trump look “good.”

“So he can cosplay ‘fight’ again. Yay.”

“Straight up even odds that they made this up. They absolutely love playing the victim.“

Others also focused on the fact that the FBI found the culprits too quickly.

“So the government is spying on college students now. Usually there has to be evidence of a credible threat to arrest people but this man wants everyone who doesn’t like him rounded up.“

In the end, people are just speculating about this, but many do think that some of the things leading to the students’ arrest seem a bit strange.
