Often, citizens get excited to see famous people out in the street. However, that’s not the case for the current POTUS, whose actions have been beyond questionable in several parts of the country. Recently, President Trump, alongside JD Vance and other people from his team, thought it would be a good idea to go to a restaurant in Washington, DC. but it wasn’t, as many people inside the establishment started booing the President, calling him out for his recent actions in the state and many other things.
The clip begins with JD Vance greeting some people at the table, but the camera quickly pans to a group of women at the back of the establishment. The Washington, DC, citizens then start booing Trump and chant the following:
“Free DC, free Palestine, Trump is the Hitler of our time.”
The group of women continues their chant, and Trump seems to approach their table, but doesn’t say anything. A lot of people in the background also start booing, but it is uncertain if they are booing the women or Trump. After all, it seems that the majority of customers welcomed the President, except for these women.
In any case, many believe the ladies’ behavior was correct, especially with everything Trump has been doing in DC, especially with the recent deployment of troops. Not many citizens have been happy with how the President has handled things. A lot of people feel as if the city is under martial law, which isn’t far from reality, especially since this administration’s solution for anything is deploying troops in cities to scare people.
As expected, a lot of people commented on the restaurant incident, with the vast majority praising the women who stood up against the President.
“God bless these heroes and patriots. I hope they are able to leave and not be subjected to his petty whims.” Said one user.
“How tone deaf do you have to be to go eat out in public after ordering the city under martial law?” Commented another user.
According to other sources, it seems that Trump and his companions were able to eat at the restaurant after he asked the women to clear out of the place. Still, going to eat out in the open is a bold move for a person whose approval rating is declining with each passing day.
