Bigben Interactive and KT Racing shared over 3 minutes of gameplay footage from their upcoming motorcycle racing simulator, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2.
Mostly known for its latest critically-acclaimed WRC 8, Kylotonn, aka, KT Racing is now working on another racing game, but this time around with a heavy focus on motorcycles. Less than a month before the second anniversary of TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge, the team behind it has shared a new gameplay video for its sequel which will be arriving next month.
Featuring completely rebuilt bike physics compared to the original game, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 is aimed to deliver a super realistic experience with some brand new features including the first-person view, which has been shown in the video down below:
Aside from the modern-day motorcycles, the new iteration of the TT Isle of Man series will be bringing some of the classic bikes such as Suzuki XR69, Norton NRS 588, MV Agusta 500 Three, and Yamaha TZ 750. Besides, if you pre-purchase the game, you’ll get access to Mike Hailwood’s legendary Ducati 900, represented in the final minutes of the gameplay trailer above.
TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 is supposed to be launch on March 19 this year for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game will be bringing official and licensed bikes, riders, and tracks from the real-world TT IOM tournament. Also, you can play in the 61km long road of TT IOM which is the tournament’s most iconic track.
The first entry of the TT Isle of Man series received mediocre reviews from media for lack of online community and repetitive career mode. It’s yet to be seen how the developer would be able to tackle the issues in the sequel and bring more diverse experience for fans of the series.
